About Us
Warm and welcoming,
the ideal vacation for all who love culture, beauty and Tuscan life style
We are a couple, architect and painteress, living in an old farm house that we have rescued with great care.
The house which stands on the hilltop overlooking the Mugello Valley dates back to the Middle Ages and was originally a semi-detached peasant house. It’s still divided in two units from ground to roof. We live in one part and rent the other unit (m2 150), completely independent with its own entrance, garden and separate loggia.
The home is situated in the Mugello Valley, 40 minutes drive North of Florence, an area where the famous Medici Family, Princes of Florence, has its origin and where many famous artists from the past were born (Giotto, Beato Angelico, Andrea del Castagno).
The house is published in “Country Interiors” and “Icons: Tuscan style”, both edited in 6 languages by Taschen.

The farmhouse
The house is comfortable, warm and welcoming, ideal for those who love culture, beauty and tranquility. In the libraries you will find books, magazines, guides and numerous art books. The kitchen has a large antique fireplace and the private garden has a beautiful view of the valley. Under the pergola near the kitchen or in the loggia it is possible to eat al fresco.

The large kitchen, equipped with all amenities, fully equipped (oven-microwave, dishwasher, fridge, gas fire). Two bedrooms (one with a double bed, another with twin beds). Main bedroom with air conditioning.
A bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, bidet).
A small storage room with washing machine.

a large living-room with satellite TV (Sky), DVD player (large collection of nice movies), Wi-Fi for internet connection and CD player.
A second bathroom (bathtub, sink, toilet, bidet).
A Small studio that can accommodate a guest.
